Ellen Brohm, J.D.

Ellen leads the firm in its pursuit of justice for our clients. She achieves those results inside and out of the Courtroom.

Her legal work focuses on Estates and Trust litigation. She also provides private counsel legal services in the fields of Public Health and Privacy Law. Ellen regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court, Health Services Appeal and Review Board and the Information and Privacy Commissioner. She has successfully argued before the Ontario Court of Appeal on multiple occasions.

Her solicitous nature creates many opportunities to represent vulnerable individuals and to protect their interests in Court, many on a pro bono basis and in recognition of the hurdles of equal access to justice in civil litigation matters.

A graduate of Osgoode Hall, Laurentian University and Humber College, all for the study of law, Ellen can see and solve problems from many perspectives. Ellen began the study of law in 2002, has been a lawyer since 2010 and was mentored by two Ontario Superior Court Judges who continue to be her role models.

Ellen has seamlessly represented international clients with interests in Ontario estates, including clients from across North America, Europe and Asia, from big cities to remote communities. By retaining the most dedicated and professional team, using virtual courtrooms and being flexible to our client’s abilities, Ellen’s Estates represents clients in courtrooms all across Ontario.

Ellen is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the York Region Lawyer’s Association and the Simcoe County Lawyer’s Association.
